





Al Madinah Calgary Islamic Assembly (AMCIA) was established in February 2005 under the guidance of Imam Professor Syed Badiuddin Soharwardy. AMCIA and all its affiliates adhere to the creed of Ahl-us-Sunnah wa-Al-Jama’ah, following the traditions of A’la Hazrat Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Brelvi (Rahmatullah Alaih) and Hazrat Allama Syed Muhammad Riyazuddin Soharwardy (Rahmatullah Alaih).
Daily Qur’an classes for girls and boys, adults Qur’an classes, and hifz Qur'an (memorization) classes.
The five times daily prayers are held throughout the calendar year. Prayer time based on praying calendar. For juma'a Prayers Al Madinah Calgary Islamic Assembly organizes Juma’a Prayers in Calgary NW, NE, SE, SW and Airdrie.
Interfaith dialogues help Muslims and non-Muslims to understand each other’s view on beliefs, issues and challenges. It helps in uniting the community and making Canada a better place for all Canadians.

We all know due to COVID 19 pandemic most of the families are having difficult time. This is also impacting charities which rely on donations. Al Madinah Calgary Islamic Assembly (AMCIA) runs several community programs such as Green Dome Mosque, Calgary N.E, Qur'an and Islamic studies courses for Muslim youth, Friday prayers at 12 different locations, and Sayyidah Fatemah (RA) Foodbank. AMCIA also provide financial support to some of the needy families in Calgary area.
